Boxwood Gulch Fishing Report for Thu, 25 May 2006

As predicted our water flow went up in May. We have had days of close to 700cfs. Plenty of water but only slightly off-colored due to most of the water being crystal clear coming through the Roberts Tunnel from Dillon reservoir.

The guides have been fishing our side channel with spectacular results. Most clients are landing 20-30 fish each and lots of really big fish. Fish in the 5 lb. class are a regular occurence with the exceptional 8-10 lb. monster being landed every week. Just this week a 27 inch 9.75 pounder was landed by Dave Solich.

If you want to learn how to land really big fish in big water you owe it to yourself to schedule a trip to Boxwood in May or early June.
