Chris and his group landed quite a few fish in high off colored water. You can’t see the fish and the fish can’t see you equals more big fish landed in high water than low water.
This huge double digit 30 inch Bow took a dead drifted Wooly Bugger in the middle part of the Oxbow. The fish doesn’t fit in the net so Tim S. from 5280 Angler is holding the fish. I think Chris had his dad take the photo.
if you have any guides tell you the water is too high to land fish show them this photo. The flow was 548 cfs.
We have had numerous 100+ fish days and lots of real trophy fish landed in the last 2 weeks of high off colored water. As I write this on the 9th of June the water is quite clear but still high.
We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado.
Get ready to have a great experience.
See you soon,
