Boxwood Gulch Fishing Report for Sat, 05 Jul 2014

Kristi landed this beautiful Boxwood Bow using a Pearl jam. Her guide, Pat Dorsey, from Blue Quill Angler put her on the fish and took the photo. The building behind Kristi is our Clubhouse.

The flow was 250 cfs with some color in the water. The big fish come out of hiding in off colored water.

The group of 12 anglers landed about 180 fish on a partly Cloudy day at Boxwood Gulch.
The best bugs for the day were, Pearl jam, San Juan worms, egg patterns, chamois worms, egg sucking leeches, and some “trade secrets” only your guide will reveal when you get to Boxwood.

Right now there are only a few dates open until 2015. Call one of our listed outfitters and have your best day of fly fishing ever.

We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado.

Get ready to have a great experience.

See you soon,
Dan Mauritz
