Attention : Boxwood Long Meadow anglers.
Boxwood and Long Meadow are temporarily closing on August 25, 2020.
Denver Water is going to be turning off the water supply through Roberts Tunnel on or about August 24 for repairs…They are not sure when/if they will turn on the water again this year.
We will need to close on August 25th. We may not be able to open again until next May. Low water and poor water quality will not provide the excellent fishing trips we all expect.
It sure has been a tough year. We are so grateful to all of the anglers who supported us. It was a short season but the fishing remained quite excellent for the 12 weeks we were able to be open. Hopefully next year will be a longer season with good water and the same great fishing….Stay safe.
(All of these great fish were landed in August…some just a few days ago.)
