In early November, Denver Water made a surprise change and dramatically reduced flows from the Roberts Tunnel. This water is necessary for our “MVP” bows (like the one pictured, landed on the day before the flows dropped) and all the fish in the river to thrive. As a result of the reduction in flows, some of our large fish did not survive. Despite great weather and an abundant population of fish prior to the dramatic tunnel reduction, we have no other option but to close until spring 2024 when flows return to angler and fish friendly levels. We thank all of our valued angling guests for making 2023 such a great season, and look forward to fishing with you all again in 2024!
