First February reports have been fantastic! Trout have been found in all the major runs and holes at Boxwood, both in the main channel and side channel. Water temps are cold per expected, so strikes are subtle. The majority of action in winter is subsurface with careful drifts and smaller nymph patterns. Some fish have been chasing streamers also. Flows have ranged from 50-80 cfs, and Denver Water reports that flows should be in that range through April.
