Boxwood Gulch Fishing Report for Fri, 25 May 2012

John landed this 25 inch Brown on a Pine Squirrel Leech tied by his guide, J. Core, working out of Blue Quill Angler….John had a 50 fish day as well.

Unreal is the best way to describe the May fishing. It doesn’t get much better. The fish were turned on to eating most anything with a good drift but San Juan Worms, Copper John’s, Purple Prince Nymphs, Zebra Midges, and eggs seemed to be the go to patterns.

Lots of big fish landed on every trip. 25 inch Brown, 9 lb Bow, and lots of 5-6 lb fish.

You could be landing fish like this. Call one of our Outfitters/Guides and request a trip at Boxwood.
