The winter fishing in November was unusual in that we didn’t have cold weather, snow or rain. The fish even acted a little weird, one day they would be quite active and the next day they would be slow to get started.
Quite a few fish over 22 inches were landed on each trip. The majority of fish landed were big Bows, Tigers and Brook Trout. Streamers and size 20 or smaller midge patterns worked the best.
As I write this on December 5, we are closed for the season due to Denver Water shutting off our water supply from Dillon Reservoir thru Roberts Tunnel. We don’t have enough water for quality trips so we closed. We plan to open again in late April or early May.
Based on how booked we were in 2021 it would be advisable to make your 2022 bookings as early as you can. We are taking reservations now.
Thank you for your support in 2021 and we hope to see you again in 2022.
